Information on this site
The guides on this site, including the pages covering what a tow costs, what to do after a car accident and which truck a vehicle needs, are general information. They are written carefully and kept accurate, and they are not legal, insurance or mechanical advice for your particular situation.
Where this site refers to Texas law, including the Occupations Code provisions covering vehicle towing and booting, those rules change over time and fee caps are periodically adjusted. Always check the current position with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation or a qualified adviser rather than relying on a summary here.
Descriptions of road conditions, construction and local traffic patterns reflect the position at the time of writing and will change.
Pricing and quotes
Any price discussed is agreed between you and the independent service provider carrying out the work. Confirm the charges with that provider before work begins, and ask for an itemized invoice with the destination recorded on it.
No guarantee of availability or timing
Arrival times depend on your location, traffic conditions and equipment availability. Nothing on this site is a guarantee that a vehicle will arrive within any particular period.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your location, your vehicle and the situation.
- Only request service for a vehicle you own or are authorized to act for.
- Verify the license and insurance of any provider before work begins.
- Prioritize your own safety, and call 911 where there is injury or an obstructed traffic lane.

The text, layout and graphics on this site belong to their respective owners and may not be copied or republished without permission. Photographs are licensed stock images. As stated in the disclaimer above, all persons depicted in a photo or video are actors or models and not contractors listed on Lewisville Tow Truck.
